An awards presentation will happen immediately following the conclusion of the contest. Individual names of the winning team will be called first, and then they will receive their medal. Then, the winning head coach will be announced, and the plaque will be given to them.
No parents, fans, or students on the floor following the contest.

This weekend, Educators Rising students brought their talents to the state competition at Black Hills State University. Laney Jass and Alyce Petersen took 2nd place and received a Bronze in Varsity Ethical Dilemma. Sofia Roth took 1st place and received a Silver in JV EdRising Moment and qualified for Nationals. Mattisyn Gates and Elliot Lutter took 1st place and received Silver in Varsity Ethical Dilemma qualifying for Nationals. Kinslee Hruby and Sarah Johnson received a Gold in Junior Varsity Interactive Bulletin Board-Elementary qualifying for Nationals. Taylor Cain took 2nd place and received Silver in Varsity Lesson Planning-Arts qualifying for Nationals. Ada Strunk took 2nd place and received Gold in Varsity Job Interview qualifying for Nationals. Elle Schaefer received Gold in Varsity Interactive Bulletin Board-Elementary qualifying for Nationals. AnaVictoria Underwood and Jada Skrovig received Gold in Varsity Interactive Bulletin Board-Elementary qualifying for Nationals. Madysen Roth received Gold in Varsity Teacher Created Material qualifying for Nationals. Way to go!
Our students went to Pierre today to see our government in action. They met with the governor and lt. governor for a photo.
The West Central girls' basketball team will host Tri-Valley in a Region 3 game on Thursday, February 26th. Start time for the game is 7:00 p.m. Winner of the game will advance to the Girls' SoDak 16 on Thursday, March 5th.

The spring season is just around the corner for MS/HS activities at West Central. If you haven't already registered your child on Bound, please do so at your earliest convenience. If your child has previously participated in an activity, you should only need to register them in the spring activity. If this is their first activity of the year, you will need to go through the whole registration process. If they are playing a sport, please make sure they have a current physical form (both pages) uploaded on the Bound website. I have attached the registration directions, if needed. If you have any questions, please contact the high school, 605-528-6236.

18 of our West Central Choir students spent the day, Thursday, February 12th, at SDSU's Festival of Song with a collaborative concert to end the evening at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center. They were proud to represent West Central and join 18 other schools from across the state!
